How the checker works
Enter seven different numbers from 1 to 44, exactly as they appear on one game of your ticket, then press the button. The checker compares them with the winning numbers and supplementaries of the last 14 draws and lists every draw where that game won a division.
Each line shows the draw number and date, how many numbers matched, the division and its dividend. For Divisions 1 and 2, which are paid monthly, the figure is the total over the whole payment period.
If nothing matched, the checker says so and names the range of draws it looked at.
Fourteen draws is two weeks of daily draws. That covers every draw of a standard seven-draw ticket that finished in the past week. Draws on your ticket that haven’t happened yet simply aren’t in the list, so check again once they’ve run.
The check runs in your browser, so your numbers aren’t sent anywhere or stored. If your ticket has several games, check each one separately. The draw figures come from Lotterywest’s published results and update after each daily draw; where our numbers come from explains how.
What counts as a win
Set for Life has eight divisions. The smallest, Division 8, needs three winning numbers and one supplementary in the same game; three winning numbers on their own don’t win. Supplementaries count only in Divisions 2, 4, 6 and 8, always alongside winning numbers.

These are the odds for one game in one draw, as Lotterywest publishes them. A standard ticket plays each of its games in seven draws, so each game gets seven of these chances.

Confirming and claiming a win
The checker compares numbers with published results; it isn’t a claim, and the seller of your ticket confirms every win. In WA, Lotterywest’s app checks online and registered tickets, and winnings on online entries are paid into your e-wallet or nominated account.
For a paper ticket, use the in-store ticket checker at a retailer: scan the barcode and wait for the beep. In WA, prizes up to $500 are paid by any Lotterywest retailer, and bigger prizes are claimed at Lotterywest’s head office in Subiaco or by mail.
Division 1 is claimed at head office after a 14-day validation. You have 12 months from the draw date to claim a prize, and recreational gambling winnings are not taxed in Australia (ATO ruling IT 2655).
The next draw
Set for Life is drawn every day. Lotterywest closes sales at 7:00 pm AWST, which is 9:00 pm AEST, or 10:00 pm AEDT in NSW, Victoria, the ACT and Tasmania from 4 October. In WA, one game over seven draws costs $5.60, according to Lotterywest’s price list.
You can start a ticket on any day and enter up to six draws in advance.

How do I check my Set for Life ticket?
Enter the seven numbers from one game in the checker at the top of this page. To confirm a paper ticket, scan its barcode on a retailer’s ticket checker; online entries are checked by the seller you bought from.
How many draws does a Set for Life ticket cover?
The minimum entry is one game for seven consecutive daily draws, according to Lotterywest. You can start on any day of the week and enter up to six draws in advance.
What time is the Set for Life draw?
It’s drawn every day. Lotterywest closes sales at 7:00 pm AWST (9:00 pm AEST) and says the winning numbers are published on Seven and 7Live at about 8:30 pm AWST.
How long do I have to claim a Set for Life prize?
In WA, 12 months from the date of the draw, according to Lotterywest. Elsewhere, check the claim rules with the seller on your ticket.
Are Set for Life winnings taxed?
Recreational gambling winnings are not taxed in Australia (ATO ruling IT 2655).
Is buying from Oz Lotteries different from buying from The Lott?
Oz Lotteries is an authorised reseller of The Lottery Corporation, which runs the national games everywhere except WA, so its entries go into the same draw. It doesn’t sell to WA or Queensland residents.
